WSMA Muay Thai Program
Muay Thai at Warrior Strength is taught as a lineage, not a workout.
We were one of the early schools in the Pacific Northwest to commit fully to Muay Thai as a discipline — not a fitness trend, not a hybrid — but the art itself. What defines our program isn’t volume or hype. It’s the time spent on fundamentals, pressure, and proper progression.
The program is led by Founder and Head Coach Kru Yai Belton, whose approach has shaped students and schools throughout the West Coast. Our Muay Thai comes through a direct line of instruction, with roots in Siam No. 1 and the teachings passed down from Ajarn Suchart. That lineage matters here. What was given is protected and passed on with care.
Training emphasizes structure, balance, timing, and durability. Students learn how to strike with intention, control distance, manage fatigue, and stay composed under pressure. Conditioning is built into the art itself — through pad work, clinch, drilling, and rounds — not layered on as punishment.
The environment is demanding but supportive. Safety is taken seriously. Progress is earned. Coaches invest in teaching, correcting, and developing students over time, whether they’re brand new to Muay Thai or preparing to compete.
We also host seminars and training opportunities with respected practitioners from around the world, giving students access to deeper instruction and broader perspective. Over the years, the program has produced nationally ranked fighters — but competition is never the requirement. Development always comes first.
Whether your goal is growth, discipline, self-defense, or stepping into the ring, this is a place to learn Muay Thai properly — with respect for where it comes from and responsibility for how it’s taught.
