Meet Belton Lubas
Belton Lubas is the Founder and Head Coach of Warrior Strength Martial Arts, where he oversees and leads every program within the academy—including Muay Thai, Filipino Martial Arts (FMA), Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Boxing, and Strength & Conditioning. His role is not administrative alone; he is present on the mats, in the training cycles, and in the development of every coach and curriculum.
With decades of experience across multiple combat systems, Belton’s approach is rooted in lineage, pressure-tested training, and long-term development. His focus is on building complete martial artists—individuals who are technically sharp, mentally disciplined, physically capable, and grounded in humility. Warrior Strength is structured to reflect those values: no shortcuts, no trend-chasing, and no separation between character and capability.
Belton’s leadership defines the academy’s culture. Training is demanding but supportive, traditional yet adaptive, and accessible to students of all levels—from beginners to competitors, law enforcement, and experienced martial artists seeking deeper instruction.

“There is a level of humility you need to acquire practicing a combat art/sport. You begin to realize how each practice transfers across everything you do in life. When in practice, I am eager to absorb concepts and principles and find the art within my art. But I also love to teach. Constantly teaching my art grows the art, and thus grows me.
My goal is always to be both traditional and progressive, embracing the old ways but seeking evolution, new truths, and connections. Expound on foundations built by those who sacrificed greatly for the art. The arts were never meant to be cemented in time, but rather defined by the individual, and shared with those with the passion to learn it.” - Belton Lubas
